SARINA REISINGER

A Moment In Time

22 February - March 13 2007

A grandmother of 9 who discovered photography late in life, Sarina Reisinger has made up for lost time.

For the past 5 years, Reisinger has toured extensively to Europe, India, Cambodia, China, Japan, Mexico and America collecting images for her series and soon to be book “A Moment in Time”.

“A Moment in Time” shares her experiences with the real people and scenes of the world.
It is Reisingers’ ability to relate to all types that give her photography depth. She sees the humanity in the ignored and destitute.

Reisinger’s photography has led to many adventures. She has been stoned in Vietnam (in the biblical sense not a pharmaceutical one), abused in Marseilles, threatened in India, chased by a pimp through the ‘Bois de Boulogne’ and targeted by louts in Clignancourt Paris.

At all times, Reisinger’s motto is “keep eye contact – have attitude” but with an open happy face. This is how she has the ability to capture “real life” all over the world.

What Reisinger loves about this concept of “street” or “documentary” photography is that – for a moment in time, you can connect and share another beings world.

Sarina Reisinger’s first collection (black and white fibre based prints) was the only photographic exhibition in late 1997 at “Gallery Vendome” in Paris. Her work has continued to tour the world, chosen by Austrian Super Circuit, on which it has won a Gold Award and numerous acceptances. Thus her work has been exhibited extensively in Austria.

Reisinger has won numerous AIPP Awards, and has been published in numerous publications.
